What is a Lash Lift?
Are you tired of trying to curl your lashes every morning with a lash tool only to find that they are falling down just a few hours later? You might consider a lash lift. Lash Lifts have been in the news for a few years now, and we couldn’t be happier about them! We are happy to answer all your questions regarding lash lifts and to get you as excited about them as we are.
What’s a Lash Lift?
The lash lift uses a silicone rod with a two-step cream solution. This is used to curl and lift your natural lashes upwards. This gives your lashes a more awake, brighter look that makes them appear fuller and longer.
Am I a Good Candidate for a Lash Lift?
We recommend lash extensions if your natural lashes have very short or sparse lashes. The lash lift is compatible with your natural lashes so it doesn’t add volume or fill in any gaps. A lash lift works well for lashes that are short or medium in length, straight or curled. The lift will help your natural lashes grow to their full potential. If you already have the length, the lift will show off all of those beautiful lashes.
Is a Lash Lift Safe?
Yes! To avoid damaging your tips or over-processing, we take care to make sure that the solution touches only the base of your eyelashes. To avoid over-processing your lashes, we recommend that you wait at least six weeks between each lift. This gives our lashes time to grow naturally, and we don’t lift the same set of eyelashes as we did before.
Is It Painful?
No! If you experience any irritation, please notify your esthetician immediately to rectify the situation. A complimentary patch test is recommended for anyone who has had allergic reactions to adhesives or makeup. To ensure that you are comfortable and safe, we will perform a patch test on your skin to determine if the adhesive or the lift solutions are suitable for you.
How Much Time Does a Lash Lift Take?
The average time for a lash lift is 45 minutes. It takes approximately one hour if you combine it with a beautiful tint that darkens and enhances lighter lashes.
