Whipped Creme With No Calories

by

whipped_cremeMy new favorite hair-styling product is Sebastian Whipped Creme, a light conditioning style whip. When I first read the styling description, I near didn’t try it because it seemed like it was more for curly-haired gals.  It’s described as a “protein-rich, ultra-light whip lifts deliciously nourished curls and waves to perfection for super-conditioned air-light bounce.  Straight hair  or not, I was tired of the weight and texture that other mousses had in my hair.  I don’t want dry, crunchy volume!  I want volume while keeping my hair smooth and silky!

That’s what I got with Sebastian Whipped Creme.  Air-dried or blow-dried, my hair feels silky, smooth, and softly conditioned.  When you shake it, it really dispenses like whipped cream and it smells so yummy.  I put it all over my hair.  Unlike regular mousse, I find it’s best not to concentrate at the roots but to be sure to distribute it evenly.

Often – because I am lazy – instead of tiring out my arms blow-drying all of this hair using a round brush to curl the bottom, I blow-dry my hair upside-down and then curl the it with a large curling iron on a low setting.  The results my straight hair usually gets a bit of a curl under at the bottom, but with Sebastian Whipped Creme, I got glamorous, big, bouncy, GORGEOUS curls.

Because it also works as a leave-in conditioner, be careful not to use heavy conditioners, too.  At around $20, I use it sparingly!
