The room was bright with vanity lights and all around were hair stylists and makeup artists, as I got ushered into a styling chair. I was seated in a chair facing my reflection in the mirror, as Teddy Charles, co-creator of Sunsilk, and the stylist discussed what to do with my hair.

I felt famous. The stylist blew out my hair, taming the unruly frizz with Sunsilk’s Hydra TLC styling crème. To start, he put about four small pumps in his hand and then worked it into my hair using his finger tips. My once fairly wild mane was now soft and silky! The winter’s damage was gone in a few minutes.  To lock in the look the stylist worked in two more small pumps of the Hydra TLC Styling Crème.

Soon after I was brought over to makeup, where the makeup artist went to work. She gave me the whole works, not skipping out on eye-shadow or mascara. When hair and makeup were done, I was able to get my picture taken with photographer Anna Schechter. The photo shoot was so much fun. Girls were striking poses all over, showing off their silky new ‘dos.

Later, I was also able to talk with Sunsilk’s new formula co-creator, Teddy Charles. It was great to hear some great hairstyling tips in his lovely French accent. He was very passionate about his product and his excitement for the new formula was clear.

“I did not just want to be a face for the product. I wanted to be involved with the creation.”
