So, It’s 2010 and I Resolve To….

by

glass-of-waterThis weekend I rang in 2010 with my friends and family (and one of my best friends got married!).  I hope everyone partied hard but partied safely like we did.  Last week I talked about some of the top resolutions people make, but while I was at it, I  had a chance to make MY beauty resolutions for 2010.

  1. Topping my list is going to the gym even if it is really, really cold!  Working out means I look better, my skin is radiant, and I have tons of energy all day long!
  2. Washing my face before bed.  Even with 3 days of partying (New Year’s Eve, a rehearsal dinner, and an amazing wedding), I have kept my resolution so far and washed my face each night before bed – no matter HOW tired I was!  The result is happy skin and less irritated eyes.
  3. The hardest one for me is probably making an effort to drink a lot of water.  It’s no secret that I am addicted to Diet Coke and caramel macchiatos.  A good way for me to get more water is to keep up with the gym – naturally I only drink water there.  Another plus is that there are a ton of flavored seltzers available.  Sometimes I add a splash of cranberry juice.  It’s almost like a cocktail!

How have you been doing with your resolutions so far?  Remember to keep it up even when it gets really hard!  The New Year is a great opportunity to make a positive change.

Wow! That is funny. I have the same resolutions list. I have been trying to keep up with drinking a lot of water and washing my face before bed but the gym thing is being harder for because of the cold thing. I wonder if Jennifer has been able to keep with everything… :)

It’s definitely too cold for the gym! I have a fractured tailbone so I have been keeping up with everything else.

One thing to add? I have become a compulsive flosser. My teeth love me.
