Summer is here and we can’t go out without showing off our toes! Now, I know there is some talk out there about having natural nails on your toes, you know, no polish… I don’t think so! I refuse to leave the house without polished toes and if you don’t like a lot of maintenance and need a super, long-wearing nail polish then you will love L’Oreal’s Bijou polish collection.There are three collections to choose from, Gems, Facets, and Crystals. I love the Crystal collection because there are 8 colors to choose from and you get a glittery, shimmering pedicure that wears for at least two weeks. A touch up here and there never hurt but since the polish has such a gorgeous shine to it, it will always look like you just got out of the pedicure chair.
You can find this collection at your local drugstore or at Target.com and Walmart.com. I love to have a lot of different nail polish colors so I stick to the drugstore brands, at less than $6 a jar, you can match your toes to any of your flirty summer dresses!
Oh, and the old French pedicure, you know, pink and white is over, update with mixing some of your favorite colors like purple and a blue tip or my favorite, red with a pink tip! Have fun and be you!

Polished toes are a new experience for me. I complimented the deep burgundy my girlfriend was wearing (OPI “Suzy Loves Sydney”) and she then offered to paint mine! I could not stop looking at them sparkling and shiny and wondered whether girls get the same satisfaction from wearing their toes polished and I was experiencing.
Anyway, I developed a liking for it, and now wear them polished pretty much all of the time.
What I was not expecting are the compliments I get.
