Tayaba Jafri, Key Artist for Pamella Roland’s New York Fashion Week show, used words such as ‘Russia’ and ‘luxury’ to describe her key inspirations for the look she created. “The makeup look aspired to mimic the beauty of a Faberge Egg and compliment the gold accessories in the collection” Jafri said.

The look for the fall 2009 show was very much eye focused. The lids were coated with a beautiful gold shade and encased with dark liner, rimming the eye on top and bottom. Noir eyeshadow was smudged in the corners for definition and structure. The cheeks took a backseat to the look as they were highlighted with a beautiful shimmer coral. To finish the look, the lips complimented the eyes in a soft-nude-berry shade glossed with lip plumper for a succulent ending.
Tayaba Jafri used the following Laura Mercier products to achieve the look.
Eyes:
- Gold Metallic Creme + Marigold Eye Colour
- Peach Mosaic Shimmer
- Noir Eyeshadow
- Caviar Eyeliner – Black
Cheeks:
- Peach Mosaic
- Orange Blossom Blush
- Candlelight Mineral Powder
Lips:
- Natural Lips Liner
- WildBerry Lip Plumper
Face:
- Mineral Primer
- Mineral Foundation
