Moonlit Escapade: The MAC Moonbathe Collection

by Paul Baranda

Whether you wear these colors as shown or as additions to your current look, most of this new collection from MAC Cosmetics is a beautiful way to warm up an already bronzed skin tone for a night on the town.

note: If your ethnic background is anything other than white, using warm colors (either in red, orange or gold tones) is an easy pick-me-up for your skin color. Try using red or orange on the higher part of your eye crease after you’ve already finished with your darker crease color. Also, adding a warm gold as a cheek highlighter, really emphasizes your cheek bones.

Here are the pieces in the collection that you all just have to have! …

Moonbathe Lipstick, in Sunmetal is a great color to wear over your favorite shade or alone with a liner for a light shimmery look.

$14.00

Moonbathe Lipglass, in Crescent and in Elaborate are both welcome additions to any lipgloss collection. Crescent is a warm, light brown with a gold frost, while Elaborate is pale gold with a white frost. Crescent is very pretty alone or over another color, but I would suggest wearing Elaborate only to highlight a darker shade.

$14.00

Moonbathe Eyeshadow, in Firespot and Cosmic are magnificent! As highlight, crease or accent colors, depending on your look (or skin tone) these colors are beautiful!

$14.00

Moonbathe Powder Blush, in Other Worldly is a yellow based blush with a gold pearl finish that’s very pretty as a higlighter on bronze skin or over your own perfect shade of pink blush.

$17.50
