MAC in Lillyland – The Lilly Pulitzer Collection

by

MAC-in-LillylandWhen MAC meets the lore and legend that is Lilly Pulitzer, you get a fabulous and funky fun new chapter: a bit of Mar-a-Lago, some well-to-do winky-wink, and a dash of retro-modern pop culture mayhem in prints and colours that make it hip to be in permanent happy land! A collaboration that feels like the best tongue-in-chic resort retort, with all the wonderful prints and Key West colour combinations Lilly has done so beautifully since, well, forever! Fly down to South Florida, with MAC in Lillyland!

Launched on January 7, 2010, MAC in Lillyland brings some much needed color to our gray January days!  My favorite part of the collection is the Pearlmatte Face Powder in four beautiful shades in a flower pattern.  It’s so pretty I almost didn’t want to use it.  But it’s even prettier on!  I also love the Technakohl eyeliner in Purple Dash.

MAC in Lillyland Collection

lillyland-lipgelee1Lipgelee $14.00 – Limited Edition Colors

  • Lush & Bright Bright pink yellow-coral with pink pearl
  • Preppy Blue-pink with pink pearl
  • Shift to Pink Light violet with silver pearl
  • Resort Life Off-white with pink pearl

There is definitely a shade for everyone.  Nothing perks up your face like a little shine on your lips.  My favorite is probably the color Preppy – but they’re all lots of fun!

lillyland-powder-flowersPearlmatte Eyeshadow $19.50 – Limited Edition

  • Three shades (white, green, pink) in a flower pattern

Pearlmatte Face Powder $27.50 – Limited Edition

  • Four shades in a flower pattern

How pretty are these?  I am loving both the face powder and the eye shadow.  The eyeshadow comes in the most perfect Spring colors and the face powder reminds me of summer.  The flower patterns seem to good to touch but the colors are too lovely to pass up.

lillyland-cremeblendCremeblend Blush $18.50 – Limited Edition

The blush comes in four great colors so girls with a variety of skin tones can find their shade.  The best thing about cremeblend blush is that it is good for those who are prone to dry skin.

  • Joie-de-Vivre Peachy coral
  • Florida Bright fuchsia
  • Optimistic Orange Bright coral
  • So Sweet, So Easy Light yellow pink

My favorite might be Joie-de-Vivre.  Don’t you just love the color names?

lillyland-nail-lacquerNail Lacquer $12.00

  • Coconut Ice Light yellow peach pink (Limited Edition)
  • Steamy Hot N Steamy pink

These are colors that could carry you into Spring and all the way to Summer.  The Coconut Ice is especially on-trend, as nude nail colors are going to be really hot this year.  Best thing about nude nails?  It elongates the appearance of your fingers, making your hands and arms look slim and sleek.

lillyland-paintpotsPaint Pot $16.50

  • Rubenesque Golden peach with gold pearl
  • Bare Study Soft beige with gold pearl
  • Fresco Rose Pink with matching pearl

How gorgeous are these colors?  I feel like these shades go with pretty much everything.

lillyland-technakohlsTechnakohl $14.50

  • Graphblack Rich graphic black
  • Purple Dash Intense aubergine

I love MAC’s Technakohl eyeliners.  They come in a variety of shades.  Like I said before, Purple Dash is definitely one of my favorites, but what I love so much is the creamy texture of this liner.

MAC in Lillyland is currently available in stores.  A lot of the shades are Limited Edition, so get them while you can!
