Lela Rose Backstage Beauty at New York’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

by

Sarah Lucero, Stila Pro Artist for Beauty.com and Key Artist for Lela Rose lelaroserunwayNew York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week S/S 2010, created a “beachy” look.  By first prepping the skin with Darphin Paris products, not only did Lucero assist the health of the models’ skin, she created a supple surface for the makeup to glide on to the skin.

Darphin Paris Skin Care Products used for Lela Rose S/S 2010:

  • Azahar Cleansing Water
  • Stimulskin Plus Eye Contour Cream
  • Arovita C Line Response Cream
  • Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
  • Tangerine Aromatic Care
  • Age Defying Lip Balm
  • Aromatic Renewing Balm
  • Aromatic Cleansing Balm

Lucero used bright pops of color for the eyes but sheered the color out to blend with the rest of the face.

Stila products used for Lela Rose S/S 2010:

  • Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer
  • Camellia Covertable Color
  • Fandango Duo Shadow
  • Cobalt Smudge Pot
  • Pomegranate Crush Lip and Cheek Stain
  • Black Major major lash

LelaRoseHairTed Gibson, Key Hairstylist for Lela Rose, created a hair style that resembled “a day at the beach”.  The hair was sectioned off, twisted, blow-dried and sprayed.  The hair was then pulled back into a pony tail.

Gibson used the following products from his line, Ted Gibson:

  • Build it blow drying agent
  • Tame it shine lotion
  • Beautiful hold hairspray
