Gottex Backstage at NYFW S/S 2010

by Victoria Stiles

The Gottex show during New York’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week S/S 2010 was dripping with luxurious glamour!  Backstage, the beauty description from Key Artist Gottex1 of M.A.C. Cosmetics was “supermodel of the 90’s”.  Chansel created a sultry eye look by rimming the top and bottom lash lines with multiple coats of mascara.  A pink-nude gloss finished the look.

Gottex2Peter Gray, Key Hairstylist for Gottex, created a sleek hairstyle using a flat iron and Redken products—Power Tame 16, an intense straightening balm, and Quick Dry 18, a finishing spray that leaves hair silky and shiny.  The models sported thick hair bands that curved inward at the nape of the neck.  Gray worked with the designers of Gottex to create a headband that complimented the hairstyle he designed—a sleek style with one small section of hair used to secure the hair back.
