Sandra Bullock is Hollywood’s girl next door, but her style says otherwise!  She’s one of my favorites – and not just because everyone says I look like her!  Sandy arrived at the Oscars in a shimmering gold beaded gown by Marchesa with a sexy slit that maximized her curves and showed off her slim figure (You have to be in seriously good shape for this one!).

Here to celebrate her role in the “The Blind Side,” our girl next door also attended the Razzies the night before the Oscars to collect her award for Worst Actress of 2009 for her role in the romantic “All About Steve,” in which she starred with Bradley Cooper. We love that she wasn’t too proud to accept a Razzie!

The SAG Awards were this past Saturday, and once again, I found myself more interested in the red carpet coverage than the actual awards (although I LOVE Sandra Bullock and was so happy she won!).

I can’t help but imagine myself in the red carpet dresses.  What I love so much about Kyra’s look is that it’s suitable for many age groups.  The strapless neckline is very flattering and the brooch and sheer gray sash detail keep it from looking too much like a wedding gown.  So what do you think – love it or hate it?

Last week, Kate Gosselin unveiled a completely new look, courtesy of celebrity stylist Ted Gibson (whom we love!).  When you’re a mom, it’s hard to find time to wash your hair – much less sit for approximately 20 hours to get extensions!

I think the former TLC star deserved the change.  A certain someone else is running around town with all different ladies – so why not let Kate look super hot?  I wasn’t a huge fan of the reverse-mullet situation she had going on before.

Referring to Kate’s new ‘do as “Clean Slate Kate,” Ted Gibson said her new look would run someone about $7,000!  That’s $950 for a haircut, $500 for her updated blonde locks, and $5000 for those much needed extensions!

J.Lo is a fashion icon.  Remember the Grammy dress in 2000?  She ROCKED that sexy look.  While her body is still amazing, and I appreciate that she ushered in an era of big booty love (seriously), I was NOT loving her outfit for her New Year’s Rockin’ Eve performance in her hometown (and mine) of New York City.

Performing her new song “Louboutins,” and one of her old songs, “Waiting For Tonight,” she was wearing a sort of charcoal-colored sheer sparkly bodysuit that for me, was reminiscent of Britney Spears in her 2004 video for Toxic. Really, Jen? You can do so much better!
