Brooks Brothers and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital kick-off the holiday season with their annual “Thanks and Giving” event

(December 4, 2008 – New York, NY) – Tonight in New York City, Brooks Brothers’ flagship at 346 Madison Avenue opened its doors to kickoff their nationwide St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Thanks & Giving campaign.

Joining Chariman & CEO of Brooks Brothers Claudio Del Vecchio and St. Jude National Outreach Director Marlo Thomas were Gossip Girl cast members Chace Crawford, Matthew Settle and Taylor Momsen as well as Wynton Marsalis and Members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center and The Harlem Alumni Choir.

Since 2005, Brooks Brothers has partnered with St. Jude in the fight against childhood cancer. This year Brooks Brothers’ goal is to raise $1,300,000 during the 2008 Thanks & Giving campaign. Starting November 24th and continuing through January 1st, Brooks Brothers retail and factory stores nationwide will offer customers the opportunity to help St. Jude by adding a donation at the time of purchase. Additionally, Brooks Brothers has created several unique products for the campaign including a holiday candle, a Christmas ornament, and a limited edition polo shirt.
