Backstage with Chado Ralph Rucci at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

by

chadoralphruccieyeschadoralphruccimuDramatic eyes popped off the runway at Chado Ralph Rucci during New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week S/S 2010. The Key Makeup Artist, globally known, Tom Pecheux, created a look with black shadow in the outer corner of the eyes. Bold dramatic lashes set the eye look and the face was kept bare. M.A.C. Cosmetics were exclusively used for the look.

chadoralphruccibackstagehairchadorrrKey Hairstylist for Chado Ralph Rucci, Laurent Philippon, used Bb. Gel, a sculpting medium from Bumble and Bumble, to create an “organic” chignon. The hair was carefully sculpted into a low shape that sat at the nape of the neck. The hair was “polished” with Bb. Gel used liberally throughout the style. The hair appeared almost plastic — a look which complimented the couture designs of Chado Ralph Rucci.
