Who doesn’t love Angelina Jolie, and now we have one more reason to add to your list! According to Women’s Wear Daily, Angelina Jolie was recently in Los Angeles to do a photo shoot for the Japanese cosmetic company, Shiseido. Shiseido cosmetics is a global brand with a huge following in skin care and color. I personally love the line and am thrilled to see Jolie in the spotlight. Shiseido cosmetics is one of the oldest companies in the world, founded in 1872 by Yushin Fukahara as Japan’s first western-style pharmacy. Shiseido is pronounced “She-Say-Doe” and has a beautiful philosophy:

“True Beauty, in the Japanese ideal, is a harmony of spirit and form: an outer reflection of the inner self.”

Fun Fact: Did you know that Shiseido introduced Japan’s first toothpaste in 1888?

Anyway, back to Angelina… Jolie is set to appear in Shiseido campaigns for hair care and cosmetics. Angelina is well known throughout the region with her charity work as well as the adoption of her son Maddox and her son Pax Thien, both from Cambodia. This campaign will only raise her popularity among her asian fans, as well as her fans worldwide.

Angelina is currently in Prague, with Brad and her four children shooting her film “Wanted”. Unfortunately for us in the U.S., these were shoots exclusively for the Japanese market and will never be seen here.
