Paul Baranda is the Founder & Executive Editor-in-Chief of Beyond Beauty Basics and is usually one of the few males in the room that has an understanding of beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. His love for the industry has helped develop an excellent taste for the top trends, brands, products, and events, while featuring only the uber haute to our readers. An active member of the Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization (SEMPO), SEMPO NY Working Group, and the SEMPO Emerging Technologies Committee for Social Media, Paul has years of experience in executing Social Media and Digital Marketing campaigns in various verticals and continues to apply his extensive media experience to consult with several of his freelance clients. Though he focuses on new media practices, monitors emerging trends, and incorporates effective strategies to achieve results, Paul also knows how to throw a party, the HauteSocial, a popular social media networking event during NY’s Fashion Week. Jennifer Long-Levy is the Managing Editor at Beyond Beauty Basics. She has worked as a interactive marketing professional specializing in search engine marketing and optimization for more than six years. Jennifer has worked with companies large and small, and as an independent consultant. Her passion for beauty & fashion and her experience in several marketing verticals including beauty, legal, retail, online education, campus education, real estate, IT and web design services, helps her manage the exciting content at Beyond Beauty Basics keeping her readers in mind. Jennifer helps oversee the contributions of the editorial team and works on building relationships with new readers, fans, and companies. A 2010 Master in Fine Arts in Creative Writing candidate at The New School University in lower Manhattan, Jennifer also holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from the College of Staten Island of the City University of New York.
