It was an evening of  red carpet, red dresses, and Red Satin for Rachel Martel and her girlfriends. Thanks to Degree’s sponsored SAG Awards viewing hotel party at Bally’s Atlantic City, the girls enjoyed sparkling cocktails, hors’ devours, a Macy’s gift card raffle, and talked fashion as they watched their favorite celebs on the red carpet!

This year, “Mad Men’s” Christina Hendricks teamed up with Degree Women Ultra Clear’s new Red Satin to make a daring statement on the red carpet by letting fans vote on what red dress she would wear to the awards show. During the SAG Awards pre-show, Rachel and her friends anxiously waited to see if their votes helped choose the dress Christina would end up wearing. The response was positive as they watched the beautiful and vivacious actress don the red dress style by Carolina Herrera that most of them had voted for! They thought it was “very sophisticated and simple.” They also loved the one shoulder and the bow. The dress was very form fitting, showing off all her sexy curves which was “very glamorous.” “What a fun way to get involved in a charity!” said one party attendee. Every vote counted and supported Degree Women Ultra Clear’s donation of $50,000 to Clothes Off Our Back, an organization that hosts charity auctions  of celebrity clothes and raise money to better the live of women and children globally.

Earlier the girls watched some of their favorite fashionable movies, courtesy of Degree. “Let’s watch Sex and the City! I love every pair of shoes in that movie!,” a guest claimed. As other guests like Kathy flipped through the Sartorialist book, the fashion mood leading to the viewing of the SAG Awards show was heightened – “Oh my god! I love every outfit in this book!, ” she screamed.

The girls were also excited to have Marianella the manicurist come for a visit to do their nails during the show. Red dress decisions were not the only ones to be made, but what color they should get their nails done! As they swooned over their favorite hot actors, like True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard, Rachel and her friends were in bliss as they got pampered with hand massages too.
After the awards show, the girls had to have their own SAG after-party at Club Dusk downtown. Each guest received a Degree Ultra Clear Red Satin, which they anxiously wore, to keep themselves odorless and perspirant-free as they danced the rest of the night away into the next morning!
