Who hasn’t tried to self-tan? I know I have always been looking for that perfect tan in a can! I just feel so much better with a little color on my body and face, especially after a long dull winter. With all of the choices on how to self tan these days, I thought I had tried them all, but there was one I still have not tried.

I have always heard about the fabulous TanTowel Self Tan Towelette Packetsbut never actually gave it a try, until now. I am so addicted to the whole TanTowel experience that I had to share my excitement with all of you.

There has never been anything easier to use. I have tried other towelettes and I will never talk about other brands in a negative way, so we will just say that the others I have tried did not work. The TanTowel works great to give you the color you want and it is so easy to use.

Before you begin your TanTowel experience, be sure to follow the prep steps we have talked about in the past. Remember to always exfoliate in the shower, Brown Sugar Body Polish by Freshis amazing and your skin will thank you after! You can even use this exfoliator immediately after you shave with no irritation at all. Next, be sure to hydrate your skin with your favorite body moisturizer. I love the new Dove Cream Oil Body Lotion for extra dry skin because after a long winter, my skin is extremely dry and needs the nourishment. Be sure to apply to those rough elbows, knees, and feet. This is always where self tanners like to streak.

When you are ready to use your TanTowel, all you need to do is open the package, and start to apply. Do not unfold your TanTowel until you move onto the next body part. Always start with your arms, then legs, then back, and stomach last. The stomach is last because you are bending and moving while doing the other parts so you don’t want to streak. You can go back and reapply after you have completely unfolded your towel.

My favorite part about this self tanner is that it dries almost immediately. You can get dressed in about ten minutes! You will absolutely love this tanning experience and the scent of the TanTowel is clean and fresh so you won’t stink like self tanner smell all day.

I know what you are thinking… why put a restaurant on a beauty website??? Let’s start from the beginning…

I was going on a date with my guy and another couple, Myra and Ken, and wanted to look extra special. I started with a smoky eye (guaranteed sexy) and I used MAC, as always. I started with Shroom eyeshadow under my brow, with a little Folie eyeshadow in my crease and of course finished off my smoky look with Carbon eyeshadow as my liner as well as on the outside corner of my eye. When you use a little Carbon eyeshadow to line your eyes on the top and bottom and use it in the outside corner, you can create the perfect smoky eye. Don’t forget your Fresh Supernova Mascara… you can lengthen, curl, volumize, and define all in one. The best part is you can layer on a few times for added drama!

So, back to the restaurant… the reason I am bringing up the actual restaurant is because this place, Table 8 Restaurant in Montclair New Jersey, has the most incredible lighting, and the food is intoxicating! I am telling you… you will look absolutely flawless in Table 8‘s dim sensual light and you will find everything and anything on their menu to fulfill any type of craving you might have.

Table 8 is not only an modern and chic dining destination for your date night out, but Demetri Malki, the owner and manager, is the most incredible host anyone could ask for. Demetri’s passion for food and culinary expertise is expressed in every aspect of this trendy Montclair NJ restaurant. Whether it is a night out with your guy, or a fabulous night out with the girls, you will find everything you want in one place. I suggest the Warm Goat Cheese Salad, baby beets, goat cheese stuffed with Asian pear, mixed greens, and white balsamic shallot dressing as well as the Buttermilk Soaked, Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast, goat cheese gratin, and brussel sprouts for an entrée. These are only a few of my favorites, the menu is so eclectic you are guaranteed to find the perfect dish. Your taste buds will be taken to an entirely new level!!! I have tried a lot of restaurants and have never been compelled to actually write about them, however, Table 8 in Montclair New Jersey does not only offer incredible cuisine, but you will look fabulous in the lighting, feel sexy on your date, and Demetri will make you feel warm and welcome.
