For those of you out there who are fragrance aficionados, here’s a new line of fragrances from a young man with considerable history behind his name.Kilian Hennessy is the grandson of the founder of the LVMH group and has created six sophisticated fragrances that are beautifully complex in their composition. You’ll want to try each of them on your skin, as they smell completely different on the blotters as well as on each individual.

(My personal favorite is Straight to Heaven, which is a woody fragrance.)
Each fragrance comes (only) in a refillable bottle in a beautifully finished chest that must be opened by the turn of a tasseled key. The chest and the bottles are emblazoned by the symbol of Achilles shield, which is to be as an offering to the Gods to bring the wearer protection as well as the gift of seduction.

I know you all know that I am obsessed with self tanners! I am always on the quest to find the perfect one, and to be honest, I have a few favorites! I look for a self tanner that gives your skin a warm glow, not a yellow or orange tan look. I was given a sample of Natura Bisse Self Tanner in Medium Tan and I am in love! I went back, bought a tube, and have been using it once a week to keep my skin warm and not winter white.

Amanda Lepore has (over the years) become an icon (of sorts). She recently took to the catwalk in Heatherette, (the F. U. to the establishment of the fashion industry) for this year’s Fashion Week in NY (watch a short clip of Heatherette from New York Magazine).

Amanda had her first cosmetic surgery at the age of 15 and then had a sex change in her final year of high school.

She is one of the most photographed club “celebrities” in NY and is known for her ability to transform herself from one character to the next, being best known for her look of old Hollywood glamour.

In an interview, Amanda says that she hasn’t had that much plastic surgery, only her breasts (twice), her butt, some silicone in her lips and some silicone in her forehead. I don’t know about you, but I think that seems like quite a bit.
