In the words of Madonna, “RESPECT YOURSELF”

I know that everyone wants to “do their own thing” and “express their inner self”, but there comes a point where self-respect and personal hygiene come into play. I take a train to work and some of the people that I come in contact with are disgusting. I sat behind someone that had chucks of something stuck in their hair. I was waiting to see a family of some kind of bugs crawled out. SOAP IS CHEAP! BATHE!
If you don’t have a hairdryer or cant afford to have your nasty dirty hair blown out or styled, cut it short and use some kind of styling product. There’s nothing worse than sitting next to someone and wondering whether you’re going to have something crawling on you after you get away from them.
(this is actually good, in comparison to the things I’ve seen)
I must say that it pleases me to see the “lunching ladies” (few as they are, I couldn’t even find a picture)
that have their hair “done”, coordinate their outfit from head to toe, carry themselves with poise and conduct themselves as if they were brought up with the manners of royalty.

Calling all prom diva’s… are you ready to have the look that is going to make heads turn and keep all eyes on you at prom this year???
Here are some of my favorites that will glam up any look and bring out your own personal style! From tips to toes and lips to lashes, here are some must haves to make prom extra special!
Revlon has just launched an amazing product, I like to think of it as lash jewelry, that’s right, eye lashes get ready for

some glamour without the look of glitter or thick jems.
Revlon’s Bejewel Lashes is a liquid formulation that
will crystallize on the tips of the lashes giving a jewel-like, multi-dimensional look. The best part is that Bejewel Lashes comes in 4 eye catching colors so you can create and customize a look of your own. Not only are Bejewel Lashes perfect for prom, but they can easily glam up any night out! Don’t forget, this is limited edition so be sure to pick up more than one!

Long Wear Gel Eyeliner from Bobbi Brown

is a great (very densely pigmented) liner that comes in 13 colors and wears all day.
This liner is great for someone already equipped with the skill of perfectly putting on liquid liner. It can be a little difficult to work with if you’re a beginner. Give it a try anyway. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll love it.
$19.00
Available at neimanmarcus.com, Nordstrom.com, Bergdorf Goodman, Lord and Taylor, Saks and Bloomingdales
I’ve found that the best brush to apply the Bobbi Liner is the Smoky Eye Liner Brush from Laura Mercier.

All you need to do is spin the tip of the brush in the product and drag it across your lash line. The brush also works very well for its intended use (which is to create a smoky effect). You’ll need a second one to use with dry eyeshadow.

Available at neimanmarcus.com, Nordstrom.com, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks and Bloomingdales

Naran Ji Fine Lotion from Molton Brown has my vote as the best! The Naran Ji is great for the kitchen, as it virtually eliminates onion, garlic, or any smells with one application. The Naran Ji is a hydrating lotion that’s great for the powder room.
If this line looks familiar, maybe you’ve been flying first class on British Airways. They’ve been giving deluxe travel kits away for years. Also, their shop in London is just a short walk away from my favorite place to have traditional afternoon tea, Browns Hotel (I don’t believe that they’re related).
Both are $23.00
Available at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and moltonbrown.com/uk
