Louis Vuitton has gone Glamorous

     Who knew that Scarlet Johansson could look so stunning? Here she is in the new advertising Fall-Winter 2007/08 campaign for LV shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Los Angeles in late March.

     Isn’t it funny how everyone reverts to the imagery of glamour that was developed in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s by Hollywood’s “image makers” when true glamour and luxury is to be defined? It’s a shame that many of today’s “style makers” are more intent on creating an image to establish a name for themselves rather than to look at the person and create a look to enhance the best of their features.

See it in Prada Ads too…

This year’s Prada is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. All the women in the collection look as if their middle European wash women.
